Tailoring seminar
Cadd Cae Computers, Dindigul conducted a seminar on Tailoring on its premises on 14.02.19.The Asst.Director Mrs. Kavitha Saravanan presided the seminar and spoke about the Tailoring course which has been running here since 1989.She also pointed out the present context of Tailoring and garments Industry in Tamilnadu. Mrs. Kaleeshwari, the Guest lecturer, Iswariya Tailoring Institute, Oddanchatram delivered her speech on the required knowledge and skills of dress makers such as how clothes are made to quality standards including wedding outfits, how to meet the demands of customers by way of visiting them, the ways to satisfy the customers’ requirements etc., About 40 women participated.
They were enlightened on the need of acquiring knowledge of clothing and soft furnishing, tailoring techniques, fabric types and fabric care, pattern making skills etc. The display of various amazing Aari Work Blouse, Aari Embroidery, Kurti Patterns, Blouse Patterns, Saree Blouse Designs, Blouse Styles, Churidar Designs, zardosi work blouse etc., has made the participants to explore the ways of their income earning potential.
